ACDS is dedicated to providing lifetime resources of exceptional quality, innovation and inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities and their families!

Our programs deliver on this mission by providing services that encompass three broad age categories: Early childhood and preschool years, 5 years plus and adult years.

Our school in Plainview serves children from birth to five years of age. Although children with Down syndrome make up about half our pre-school population, we also have a growing program serving children on the autistic spectrum, as well as children with other developmental and genetic based disabilities.

Our 5Plus program enables us to continue to serve families after the preschool years by providing a wide variety of recreational and respite programs. Our adult services include our supervised residences, Medicaid Service Coordination and a day habilitation program.
