ACDS “Opportunities” Day Habilitation (DayHab) Program Without Walls offers those individuals who are aging out of their educational placement the opportunity to partake in an Adult Day Program that enables them to volunteer in their community.

The participants’ days are both fun filled and rewarding. They volunteer at various sites in the community including ACDS’ Preschool, Meals on Wheels, Senior Shopping, church outreaches, Island Harvest, nursing homes and Horseability. ACDS provides door to door transportation to our DayHab.

The program was initiated in September 2011 with 6 participants and has grown rapidly. The number of DayHab clients is expected to reach 20 by September 2012.

Our DayHab facility is located at 665 North Newbridge Road in Levittown.
