ACDS conducts clinical evaluations for infants and children with Down syndrome, Autism or other developmental disabilities, from birth through 5 years, as well as for children demonstrating language/communication, social, cognitive or motor delays.
Psychological evaluations administered by a licensed clinical psychologist are also available. Evaluations are conducted in a center-based or home-based setting.
Clinical services include occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy delivered at home or in our newly designed, state of the art, Power Play clinical wing, which opened in September 2010.
Psychology, social work/counseling, nutrition and Audiological testing services are also provided. A full time nurse is also on staff. All of these services are provided in accordance with the child’s IFSP or IEP.

ACDS also provides home-based SEIT (Special Education Itinerant Teacher) services for children on the Autistic Spectrum who are from 3 to 5 years of age. Parent Training and Counseling is also available for this population.
